Getting started
How do we pair?
One of you opens Pinni and taps Create our place. Pinni makes an invite with a link and a six-letter code: send it however you like.
The other taps the link, or opens Pinni, taps Join my partner and enters the code. That’s it: you’re both in.
Is Pinni on Android?
Not yet. Pinni is on iPhone for now, so you’ll both need one.
I’ve got a new phone. How do I get our place back?
Install Pinni and sign in with the same Apple or Google account you used before. Everything is where you left it.
Pinni Pro
What’s free, and what’s Pinni Pro?
Pinni is free to use for as long as you like: your board, status Polaroids, letters, gifts, doodles, voice notes, the question of the day, and a book of 15 pages.
Pinni Pro is for when you want more: no limits on your book, voice notes or doodles, every gift, every look, and letters for any day you like.
Do we both need to buy it?
No. One of you joins, and you both have it.
How do I cancel?
In Pinni: Settings → Pinni Pro → Manage subscription. Or on your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Apple handles every subscription, so cancelling is always done with Apple.
Pro stays on until the end of the time you’ve paid for.
What happens when Pro ends?
Nothing is deleted or hidden. Every page, every kept voice note and every kept letter stays yours, and you can still read, edit and share them. New things just follow the free limits again, and the app goes back to the Linen look.
I bought Pro, but it isn’t on.
Open Settings → Account → Restore purchases, signed in with the Apple account you bought it with. If it still isn’t on, write to us.
Your board and book
Why do voice notes disappear?
A voice note disappears a day after it’s first played, so they feel like a real moment. Star the ones you want to keep forever: if either of you stars it, it stays.
Can I share a page from our book?
Yes. Tap ••• on the page, then Share this page: save it as an image or send it anywhere, with or without your notes and your names.
Leaving and deleting
What happens if one of us leaves?
Everything becomes read-only for both of you, for 30 days. You can both read everything and save your photos. Whoever left can come back any time before then, and everything is as it was. After 30 days, it’s all deleted.
You’ll find it in Settings → Leave our little place.
How do I save our photos?
While your place is closing, tap Save our photos and every photo goes to your iPhone’s Photos. If you stop, it picks up where it left off.
How do I delete my account?
In Pinni: Settings → Delete account. Your account, your sign-in and your profile are erased straight away. Your person keeps everything to read for 30 days, your letters and photos included, and then it’s all deleted.
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel Pinni Pro: Apple handles that, so cancel it first (see “How do I cancel?”).
